About Danielle Wallis

Danielle (aka DW) was born & raised in Santa Cruz, California. After obtaining her BFA in Visual Merchandising in San Francisco, she cut her teeth in New York City and Los Angeles.

Since 2009, Danielle has crafted a creative career with experience including styling, social media marketing, and visual merchandising. She has a penchant for color, textile, vintage, and print mixing. Danielle is driven & inspired to work with clients who value inclusivity, diversity, and sustainability. 

Danielle has become known as an idea-generator & flexible team player. She is passionate about her adjunct work as professor of styling and visual merchandising at The Academy of Art University. There, she leads BFA and MFA classes in a studio environment. 

Her mentees have been hired by brands such as Proenza Schouler, Issey Miyake, Loreal, Rick Owens, Sephora, Dosist, Nike, Stitch Fix, and Levi's. Their work can be seen in publications such as V, Vogue Italia, Interview Magazine, Paper Magazine, Schon! and Wonderland Magazine.
