About Danielle Wallis
A visionary with a penchant for creating powerful imagery, Danielle is skilled at bringing the intangible to life through strategy and collaboration. Known for her optimism, flexibility, and idea generating style, she is always on the lookout for emerging trends, color stories, and inspiring people & places.
Danielle is currently an Art Director of Social Media at Walmart, focusing on multiple channels & content creators. She was born & raised in Santa Cruz, California & holds a BFA in Visual Merchandising from the Academy of Art University. She has crafted a hands-on creative career with skills in styling, social media, and visual merchandising.
From 2015-2021, Danielle worked as adjunct professor, BFA and MFA at the Academy of Art University. She taught studio-based courses & wrote over six original courses for two programs. Her mentees have been hired by brands such as Proenza Schouler, Issey Miyake, Loreal, Rick Owens, Sephora, Moda Operandi, Nike, Thinx, Stitch Fix, and Levi's.
